The last MU Discovery Tour will be Wednesday

Vans will load up ourside the LSC at 7:30 am.  We will tour the Genetics farm and Bradford Farm.  At Genetics, Sherry Flint-Garcia
will talk about her experiments exploiting the diversity in teosinte to improve maize.  She has plants with wild (not wild-type) phenotypes to show  us.  At Bradford, farm manager, Tim Reinbott, will tell us about a number of resources and research experiments at the farm, ranging from the native plant gardent, to growing plants
for biofuels, to developing new disease resistant crop varieties.
