MU UGR Talent Show-SS’07 (with videos)

On Thursday, July 19th the MU UGR summer interns participated in the 2nd Annual “Don’t Quit Your Day Job” Summer Research Scholars Talent Show in Monsanto Auditorium. The audience cheered on the hosts for the evening, Antoinette Gray and LeighAnn Jordan, as they entertained everyone with jokes and more jokes making the evening, though small in attendance, big in “talent.” Read below about the winners and view their acts.

The Winners
3rd place prize went to Sarah Hargis on her trumpet solo (in two parts due to small technical difficulties)

2nd place prize was awarded to Mark McLaughlin for his solo on the Bagpipes

And 1st place was awarded to the talented duo of Kristen Linblad &Kirsten Wright for the interpretive dance of a familiar performance!

Congratulations also goes out to the rest of the performers who were kindly advised not to “Quit Their Day Job.”
